    @FelixxN3SS Actually THC an ingredient in marijuana has in some cases therapeutic effects and can therefore be prescribed in a pill form by a physician. Current science (not me) including recent studies conducted at UWO have shown links to various cancers and mental health issues. Just think about it … if you are taking smoke into your lungs you are doing harm even without the effects of the drug.

    No, the only reason people want to try ‘harder’ drugs is because pot is illegal. They try it because usually their dealer carries those harder drugs, and offers it to them. Kids who haven’t matured, don’t always make the greatest decisions. Teenagers from all over have reported that cannabis was EASIER to get than alcohol. If it were legal and regulated, this would not be a “gateway” drug. In Holland the average age area for people trying cannabis is when humans are adults!

    @BenniePropane You’re right Bennie. People who smoke cannabis are not bad people but are likely just using one or more substances to deal with their issues. After a while ppl realize that the pot is not enough anymore. Real world research does show that pot users get lower marks, have worse memories, are sick more often and cause more accidents. Why risk it! Get help to deal with your problems because drugs only mask the problem.

    This is stupid. Cannabis doesn’t make people violent, it makes them LESS likely to be violent. That situation in the class room WOULD NOT HAPPEN because of marijuana, it would happen because of the child’s home problems. There have been kids I’ve talked to with 80 averages who smoke pot on a regular basis.
