Zaphr89 you wright bro I training this system 3 years now and many times I found after the 3th week I can’t follow any more the secret was the diet I was skip the food,, must eat 6 times a day or your body can’t copy with this heavy training, plus all the extras you need vitamins protein.
zaphr89 says:
After a while i came to a plateu and gained very little, i didn’t have the discipline to continue the diet so i lost faith and started using other methods, like stronglifts 5×5 and more reps but this was just bs, in my opinion, because the only thing it did was actually make me weaker, so a while ago i thought i give max-ot another try and i suspected that what had made me fail was that i didn’t eat as much/or right. And now im gaining again
Cant recommend it enough. But remember diet is key!
zaphr89 says:
When i found out about max-ot about 2 years ago i had only been training for a couple of month, i started training after the Max-OT principle and in 3 months i gained about 15kg (35 pounds) and maybe 12kg’s of that were lean muscle. What i think many people do wrong when they are trying to gain weight is that they focus only on the training part and nothing on the eating. I know that what made me gain as much was not just max-ot but my diet which was very ast-inspired.

How much is your DVD? And do you ship to the UK?
gymjohn says:
WOW Skip, you are huge! Its great too see a natural bodybuilder who has such large amount of mass as well as being ripped!
Seems afew of the “big” natural bodybuilders like to use MAX-OT. I must admit I am beginning to think the way to mass is HEAVY weights and lower reps.
yashespatel says:
how do you strap weight on your ankles for weighted leg lifts?

One quick question. On the AST Sports site, Paul Delia mentions at one point that sodium is not the evil demon that it’s made out to be, and that in fact it can be of great benefit. Any formula for figuring out how much I should be taking in on a daily basis? And do you have a Max-OT formula for warming up? Thanks again!

How much is the DVD set? I just got turned on to Max-OT by my youtube friend, JacksonUSA, who incidentally plays guitar like jack rabbits make love, and I’m definitely hooked. I feel as though, even when my focus leaves something to be desired, that my workouts are a lot more effective, and of course they are much shorter as well. It’s an honor to sub to you!

If this guy is all natural/ roid free, I have found a fuccin’ hero! Much props!!!
Sandline99 says:
I own this DVD and this is definitely the best routine I’ve tried for looking good.
fvschie says:
From a functional strength point of view, free weights are a lot better, because they also train (core) stability. You can replicate your free-weight max on a machine, but not the other way around, because of this.
Critique07 says:
is the muscle max OT good for someone who is getting back into the gym who hasn’t lifted in a while or is there a better one that will provide much more appropriate info and motivation?
Also, what kinds of supplements should I get?
sarsattacks says:
O cool! Thanks for responding! I’ve done MaxOT in high school (like 6 years ago). I’m also training amateur MMA so I was away from weight rooms for a while. I want to get back into bodybuilding but I’d have to lift alone a lot. Is there anything wrong with using machines like the Hammer Strength to replace bench? Is failing on a machine different than with a spotter on free weights?
SkipLaCour says:
You can’t actually tell from the video footage but I explain how I have my training partner have his “fingers” on the bar to give me more certainty and confidence to train heavier and go for one more rep as opposed to playing it safe and setting the bar down too early. I am not doing forced reps. If I do fail (which will happen occasionally if I’m really pushing myself, he right there for me.
sarsattacks says:
Taht’s weird. I did MaxOT I thought they don’t do forced/assisted reps.

aspirin doesn’t affect blood pressure. It helps prevent clotting, which may help prevent strokes…
JackBlair2 says:
In the time it took to watch this clip, you could have been in your car heading to the gym.
CR250RidR says:
i just found out that i have high blood pressure 2.. its kinda scary. someone told me the other day to just take some baby aspirin to lower it. but the best thing to do is cardio and diet
Cheesin331 says:
Are you sure? It kinda sucks, when I constantly hear that so many bodybuilders are juicing. <—-I cannot do that for a couple of reasons…first of all it’s illegal. Second of all, I’ve had high blood pressure since I was 12, when i was fat and really unhealthy. Taking steroids would be like killing myself. Most Natural bodybuilders I’ve seen were much smaller than I want to be; but they were also more cut than I need to be. I just want to get big, without a belly. I don’t have to be super cut.
ezravdb says:
ofcourse theres not another dvd exactly just like that one lol xD
CR250RidR says:
yup he is all natural
CR250RidR says:
the only real supplement u need is whey protein. You don’t need anything else just motivation and patience.
if your gonna get supplements just get the following:
#1 Whey protein
#2 Multi-Vitamin
#3 Fishoil
THATS IT!
u dont truly need anything else
