Florida authorities say an overdose of selenium, a common mineral that helps muscles recover from fatigue, is to blame for the deaths of 21 elite polo horses just over a week ago. (April 28)

Let me tell you , polo is nasty , behind the beautiful barns and fancy what not , it is an horrible place for horses. when I was at Wellington , I would see trucks and trucks of horses coming into the vet offices and if the horses were lame or had an injury which would cost them money , the horses would be sent to slaughter ….. and these ladies with their facy hats at these polos matches support animals causes …. what a joke , hypocrites
