This video I explain the effects of methadone, and the “high” that you will feel. Everybody is different, and methadone will have a different effect on each individual depending on your drug use amount, your tolerance, and the dosing methadone amount you are prescribed, but this video will explain the basic feelings methadone will cause.

I just came off 370 mgs. a day for 6 years from a clinic in Florida. They started me off at 80mgs. I was high as a kite and stayed that way as I kept going up. After 6 years, it just stopped working. Period. I went into a detox and even they could barely help me. I got thru it, I don’t know how. I was sick as a dog the entire summer of 09. Now I am semi clean but I notice if I get my hands on methadone, my tollerence goes up really quick. Life sux right now.

OH dude totally agree with you. A few weeks ago, my clinic started tapering me down, 10% a day because I couldn’t afford the payments. After six days, I was fucking sick as a dog. The withdrawl from methadone is ten times worse than heroin. Sucks. I’m back on methadone now, after relapsing. Trying to get my audio working again so i can do another update video.

Just like how the more one takes Xanax the less one feels the effects of it. Your body gets use to it, but don’t worry, you will not get dope sick. Your body just works it out so that it won’t make you feel the drowsy effects after awhile. BUT BEWARE! Methadone is very physically addictive, even more so than heroin. If you stop taking it after dependency, you will get extremely ill. Worse than heroin withdrawal!!! And if you don’t take it and get ill, even if you do heroin, you will still be ill

yea i take methadone when i cant find any H or 80′s but when i do it i do 40 just to feel Ok , to get high, about 80-100 mg,but where i like there is no limit you can go up to 300mg atthe clinic… anways just my 2 cents …. good day and good luck

not wanting or trying to offend you bro. I’m only stating what the effects are to me. I definitly know when I feel high. I’ve been on the same dose for 2 years and NEVER nod out. I can’t speak for anyone else nor am i trying to.

@doshea777 if your eyes are pinned, glassy and your ichy you are high. I was on it for 2 month and i was high everyday. my friend she is on 175mgs and she says shes never high but shes always noding and pinned out, my boy he is on 100 and he says he’s not high but he is looking fucked up all the time. when i was strung out some times i would rather get a biscuit of 40mgs of methadone then get my bundle of shit.

Yeah, I’ve been told that too. And I’ve been noticing that the “high” has been decreasing steadily over the last week or so. This kind of worries me, because I’m afraid of getting those cravings again, but at the same time I think it’ll make it easier to begin tapering off of methadone too. I dunno. We’ll see. Working on setting up my support group for when I start to taper. But until I have a solid support group, I’ll stay on this stuff.

Well just a quick update. I’m still on 30mg a day, but hoping to begin tapering off at 1mg a day starting Monday. I’ll be posting a new video soon if anyone’s intersted, and hopefully I’ll be able to fix the “audio” delay issue. Just to let you all know, methadone TRULY takes away the withdrawl and opiate cravings. I have been clean (off opiates anyway) for three weeks now, ever since day one of methadone. It really does work.

thats weak im on a single 240mg dose in the morning and i barley feel shit…. then again nive been on it nonstop fo 10 years. before the meth i was banging 4-5 bags of H at a time about 15 bags a day give or take if the money was there

hey man, im 20, i live in canada ,and im currently addicted to oxy 80′s, 2 a day. Maaan, when im not on them, you no how it is, puking, ect. Anyway my doc referred me to a methadone clinic, and after a 2 week waiting period I got my blood and urine tested yesterday, and today, in about an hour, I’m going to take my first dose, great vid man, finally some really anwsers, thanks a lot, keep posting please, ive subscribed, its good to not feel alone, i no that sounds gay lol, but really man, ty

Yeah I had em lower my dose now down to 25mg. Most people from what I understand are on a much higher dose, but I’m actually trying to QUIT doing drugs, so 25mg is just fine. I still feel the “high”, but mostly it just takes away the withdrawl symptoms, which is exactly what I need. Next week, i’m going to begin tapering down from 25mg, ONE miligram a day. so, in 25 days, i should be done….

I just got on methadone today it was so gay lol i had to be there at 6 and got out at 9 and was in W/D the whole time !!! god it sucked i had to get blood drawn and take a TB test and a urine sample….the doc finally got there and he juss felt my liver and looked at my throat and then said we’ll start you on 30 mg of methadone and i was like FUCK YEAH lol so i went and took my dose and the taste is fuckin horrible and water just makes it worse but im feelin pretty damn good

i liked the done for the first year.looked forward to my drink in the morning and then head to work. now its year two,and im sick of going to the clinic. its only once a week for my piss test and carries. i dont like the way i feel on it anymore as well.
it should be mandatory tratment in canada and the us to give people 90 days free in a detox rehab somewhere else where they live. anyone could kick methadone and heroin if they provided real help and if you really wanted to change. sad.
