    @4Robots thats the problem u kicked in jail, trust me if you taper 1mg a week by the time your finally off (which takes along time honestly) the wds are very light, alot lighter than heroin. theworst is you feel deressed your aetites low and you only sleep like 4-5hrs a night ,but all that goes by in about 2wks.

    @4Robots thats an old myth the germans invented methadone (which is tottaly synthetic) in anticiation of the war disrupting opium supply lines which would mean no morphine or any other natural or semi-synthetic would be aroud to treat the massive injuries which war brings about.

    methadone takes the longest, but its milder, personally give me morphine to rattle from anyday.
    And methadone was invented by the germans when they lost their supply of opium in the war as an alternative.
    Have u seen them old fashioned adverts?
    it has a bloke lying on the ground being injected “good for pain” it reads or something.

    Let me get this straight,your trying to tell everyone that the withdrawal effects coming off methadone are less intense then coming off heroine or any other opiate for that matter?And I can tell you know jack $hit pal.Believe me I have been addicted to them all methadone.Oxcy,heroine,vics/percs and even subox and it’s not even close in terms of which is the hardest to kick as methadone takes the crown in a landslide.I was on it for 26 months and kicked in the joint and couldn’t sleep for 6 weeks

    If one must take methadone for heroin detoc, please no more than 1 month, and cut them down every day. Thats the only way it should be used to treat heroin addiction imo.

    You will have thyroid problems , adrenal issues all kinds of stuff from a log term methadone addiction which is rarely seen in heroin detoxs. Both seem to similarly effect on seretonin/dopamine production though.

    Nah i gotta disagree, with way u describd methadone detox. Its exatly the same, excpet some minor differences, you dont get as much anxiety coming of methadone and its a bit of a slow come of the withdrawl effects.

    The serious issue is , with heroin detoc you can be back to nromal within 2 weeks-1 month as in you can work/ eat normal and sleep. With methadone it will take months and months before you start to feel normal, as methadone will destroy you hormone production unlike any other drug
