I do not have a regular Doctor, but I want to be prescribed Antabuse.?

How should I go about it? Could I go to a walk in clinic?

    Maybe you could call a local detox and ask if they have the name of a Dr. that deals with addictions. You may have to go threw a detox so that the Dr. can see that you have no alcohol or anything else in your system and see how you feel when done and he’ll know what you need and the amount. Sometimes Antabuse is not always the answer. If you think you need it then you know you need help with a problem and taking a pill is not going to make you stop b/c if you want to drink all you do is stop the pill. Perhaps you might want to think a little more about going in to a detox and stay for longer than just the 7-14 days. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Some of us had to ask for help more than once.
