Uhm. You don’t. Methamphetamines are physically addictive. Your body gets to a point that it believes it NEEDs it to keep going. When you quit, there are going to be withdrawals. There’s no way to avoid them. But once you’re off of it, if you stay off of it, you never have to worry about it again. Plus, if you quit, you get to keep your teeth, your health, your friendships, and your life! And you’ll have money! Booooonuuuuuus!

That’s a question for a doctor. There may be some outpatient treatment, but it’s not a good idea to try all on your own at home. You can either take the time and do what it takes, or halfway try and it not work. Getting clean is more important don’t you think?

There is no way to get off that crap without help. I have never done it but have a few friends who have ended up commiting sucide while trying to quit. Please get help from a doctor!!
Good luck and god bless you!

You don’t , first you need to get away from your so called friends who are into this and to a facility that can help you.

No matter what you do you WILL have withdrawals. Make sure you have a strong support system of friends that will be able to take your abuse and keep you away from meth at the same time. Withdrawals from anything are hard to get through but you can do it.

If you really want to quit, talk to your doctor you have appointments with, s/he will help you. The only way to not have withdrawals is to slowly cut back… however, then you risk the chance of never stopping. The fastest and safest way is rehab. Maybe you could get in a program and still make your appointments and work.
Good luck and I truly hope you kick the habit.

There really isn’t an easy way to quit that way its an addictive drug. Going to rehab is your best bet. An in-patient program would be ideal. Meth is an ugly ugly drug and quiting it is no walk in the park. When you finally hit rock bottom I’m sure you’ll get a game plan together and quit or you’ll end up dying. It doesn’t sound like your serious about quiting. If you were you would be making excuses as to why you can’t go into a rehab!

Unless you go to a doctor, you are going to have withdrawals when you detox. There are ways a doctor could do it quickly, but it is very dangerous. I would pray for help from God if you really want to quit, but you should know that it is going to be a struggle. But you are making the right choice.

I don’t really know if this will apply to kicking the meth habit or not, but I do know that for most substances, if you want to kick at home, without help, and without clinical detox, and without suffering withdrawls they say to cut, by half your use daily, or every other day, so day one, you cut back what you use by half, and deal with it, stay at that for 1 or 2 days, then cut back, by HALF again, for 1 or 2 days, until, eventually, you are no longer using. your body, and your brain have built a need for this substance, the withdrawls people feel is the body, and minds confusion at not getting these substances in the system anymore, you have to wean gradually, especially if you are wanting to go this alone, you have got to be careful to not try to do this cold turkey, please, be careful, be safe, and God Bless you for wanting to try another way of living, my love is sent straight to you, and I wish you much success.

since you work in a kitchen, i recommend you work 7 times a week in the KITCHEN, will do some good for food cravings, get off your mind from meth, end earn a little extra.
Tire yourself out working, schedule sleep times so as not to interfere with work scheds…
And pls HATE the meth or you’ll find yourself buying again!!!
