Heroin peddler nabbed
Kandy Police headquarters Special Operation Unit yesterday arrested a person with 60 packets of heroin. He is alleged to have transported heroin from Colombo to Kandy for sometime. Police say at the time of the arrest he had in his possession 2600 mg of heroin.

Heroin worth Rs 10 cr smuggled from Pak seized
Amritsar, Sep 26 (PTI) Two kilograms of heroin valued at around Rs 10 crore and smuggled here through the Indo-Pak border were seized by the special operation cell of Punjab Police today and two persons arrested in this connection.
