Heroin….?
Question by Dunno: Heroin….?
What is it like to be high off Heroin? I would like to have sincere answers. Is it as good as everyone says. Is it as dangerous as people say. Because if I use it I don’t think Ill end up like a junkie. But I’m not so sure.
Oh yeah..and if you re high can people tell and how long does it last? Do you have to use a needle or are there other ways?

Why would you want to take that chance? No one sets out to be a junkie. If your seeking to feel better maybe you should make changes that are healthy and will last. You should watch a show on A&E called Intervention. I bet it’ll make you think twice.

dont even start! do you think junkies thought that they’de end up being a junky?? no they thoought.. I’ll try it once to see what its like . then they get hooked. I was DUMB and I did try it once in High School. I threw up for about 2 hours. I dont recommend it at all.

You’re not so sure is not good enough, buddy. It is hell to be a heroin junkie and you’re better off never testing yourself. I have a cousin who died from it, and my sister was an addict, and it took my mother, another sister, and myself, and a psychiatrist watch her go through awful hell for weeks, trying every lie and deceit on the planet to get her fix, until she got clean.
Yeah, you can snort it, no need for a needle, f*ck up your nostrils.
And you’re not high, you’re more like passed out. People who do heroin want to be out of the here and now. It’s not like cocaine which is a social drug.
They are all nasty. Those days of wanting to be cool trying drugs, saying I did heroin, are long over, dude.

Well… when you get ‘high” off heroin, you can’t really control what you want to do, you go sort of mad/crazy… and you tend to not remember things. It’s easy to get addicted to it, and it IS VERY dangerous!!!!!! If you take heroin, you’ll keep wanting more which will make you a) bankrupt b) soo addictive you go crazy and if you can’t stop yourself there, you might have to have heroin injections to keep yourself satisfied, and that will shorten your life span by a lot. Don’t take heroin!!! EVER!!

i don’t think you should try herion if you think you’ll get addicted because herion is a drug in its own league. its drags you down and you’ve got to be an incredibly strong person to fight it once you become addicted.
but since you asked what the high is like i’ll tell you because i addmit its natural to be curious because it gets hyped up so much.
the first time you inject heroin it’ll probably make you sick, but i you use it again it feels better. the rush lasts only one or two minutes and is kinda like an orgasm, its a biiiiig tension release. the high lasts for four or five hours and it makes you feel all warm, drowsy and cozy and satisfied.
im not or never was a herion addict….just to set the record straight lol.

How does it feel? It depends on if you smoke it, snort it, shoot it, etc. It depends on the type and mixture of the drug. It depends on the batch. It depends on your weight and body chemistry. There are too many variables for a specific answer. (That also applies to your question about how long it lasts.) Generally, it can make you feel relaxed and content, and it can also make you weak. You might lose control of one of your eyes and not mind so much. And if you’re on it for a short while and quit, you’ll feel worse than you can imagine. If you were really into it, you’ll vomit uncontrollably for a couple weeks and then intermittently for another month. You’ll get so tired that you can’t walk, but you’ll also be unable to fall asleep because your mind won’t wind down. You’ll feel cold no matter how warm you are. Your muscles, all of them, will twitch and spasm until you’re sore, and the pain will be magnified because you’ve been numbing yourself for so long.
Is it dangerous? It depends on if you smoke it, snort it, shoot it, etc. It depends on everything I just mentioned. I mean that the level of danger varies, but I don’t think there’s any circumstance in which you could say it’s safe, although that danger is often exaggerated by movie makers and other uninformed people. Of course it’s dangerous to ingest or inject something you bought from a guy in a parking lot, but the only people I knew who overdosed did so with combinations of illegally acquired prescription drugs and alcohol. And I knew people who crashed cars while on various drugs. So, yes, it’s physically dangerous, but, despite what everyone thinks, it’s actually uncommon for people to OD on heroin without also having taken alcohol, cocaine, and/or some other drug. If you’re using powdered heroin, it’s more likely that you’ll overdose on whatever it’s cut with. The most definite danger isn’t to your life but to your way of life. Even if you don’t end up a dead junky in a dirty bathroom, as seen on television, there’s no way to be addicted to narcotics and live what most consider a normal life.
Can people tell if you’re high? Maybe. It depends on how high you are. Some people work that way daily without issue but later get home and get high enough that anyone could tell. They start to nod off, drop things, have trouble focusing. And if you’re out of control, you’re out of control, and there’s no hiding it. Heroin addiction eventually complicates everything. If you go out of town, for example, you have to make sure you bring enough to keep from getting sick until you make it back home. That means no air travel because you might get searched. So, if you’re careful, you might hide the physical effects, but it’s unlikely you can hide the basic need, which kicks in sooner than you might think. At the bare minimum, you may be able to function with ten dollars of black tar a day. That’s $300 a month, and no addict is happy with the “bare minimum.” Even $600 a month would be considered moderate for a user, and that’s eventually going to take a toll on your life, especially considering you’ll need more and more to keep from withdrawal sickness. You may not resort to crime, but something will have to give. You’ll either have to stop using or get progressively more ruthless, and the people close to you will probably be the first targets. You’ll start rationalizing the hurt you cause until you’re routinely doing things that you would’ve thought horrible when you were clean.
