fluvoxamine or Luvox if you have to take it you should not be on anything else if possible, its a wierd SSRI with severe drug drug interactions. I rarely if ever use it for a while it was taken off the market in short acting form

    I’m taking 200 mg for depression. Been on it for about a year, I think(?).

    I’ve been on several SSRIs, but, my doctor really wants to keep me on Luvox, as it’s used on children a lot (I turned fourteen in July).

    I’m also on 7.5 mg of folic acid. Can’t remember the pill name.

    Luvox does NOT help OCD, seriously, I been on it for years and it never helped!

    I would not recommend it. Maybe it’s different for everyone else but it didn’t help OCD for me.

    I have OCD only and i start my fluvoxamine treatment tonight well see how it works i used to be on paxil that a previous doctor percribed and it did not help it made me a careless person and when i got off it made me a reage angry person.

    Thanks for this video. Right now I am on medication for anxiety I feel like a reason to quit. is it normal to feel like its not working..but the medication really is? Like I feel like normal now at first I felt a difference but now it just feel different like im back to feeling myself i couldn’t exactly say that I have anxiety and I am depressed again.     I take this 100mg twice daily. I have BPD. The reason for taking it because I was having thoughts and urges to kill people that would not stop. It finally stopped since I have been taking it. I notice if I miss a pill or two thoughts will come back. I do not however like how this medication makes me feel. I just feel numb and it slows down my thinking and I seem stupid sometimes. I want off the meds but I feel afraid to since this works. I have tried every other med this was my last alternative

    your right its dangerous.. i actually almost hurt a lady with this drug. it raised her asthma med and caused irregular heart beat and near death… i still remember it… this stuff is dangerous, and i cant believe they use it in children, of course its not approved for depression in children just ocd? it probably can cause that situation you have had

    I took this drug for 2 years for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. After that I stopped taking it and I think it screwed me in a lot of ways. I had severe anxiety like never before and became very introverted and some depression. And this was all after I stopped taking it.

    probably but i just hate it and most SSRIs which are safer dont…. it would not be good for the baby and mother so i would not take it during pregnancy for a lot of reasons whereas similar meds can be

    yes I get holistic healing including massage therapy, that is my particular favorite thing for stress and anxiety. I am very opinionated about medications that I prescribe.
