Dr Lason, vitamin B6 deficiency cause anxiety, nervousness
For 30years, Joan Mathews Larson, PhD has been treating addiction, anxiety and depression with natural supplements in order to correct the underlying biochemical problems which cause these conditions. In this video clip, she tells how a deficiency of vitamin B6,, pyrodoxine, can cause extreme anxiety, nervousness, confusion, and melancholy. She also notes that old large doses are required, and if you don’t take enough, nothing happens. “Vitamin B6, pyridoxine, it’s hugely important. “Without it, it causes extreme anxiety, nervousness, confusion, and melancholy. “You can get rid of all four of those by taking vitamin B6. “If you are orthomolecularly-minded, you will take great amounts of it, the cause is water soluble… all these be vitamins are… therefore, they aren’t going to cause you any harm. “The body can’t store them and cause any mischief. “But if you don’t get enough, nothing happens. “So, orthomolecular practitioners know that it’s better to an error on the side of too much.” Dr. Larson is the author of “7 Weeks to Sobriety”, “Depression Free”, and “7 Weeks to Emotional Healing”.

Regarding Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P5P), active form of Vitamin B-6…
Dr. Larson says…
“Pyridoxal-5-phosphate is the metabolite that B6 becomes. Sometimes that first conversion (from B6 to P5P) is faulty, so it is wise to incorporate both forms of B6. P5P also allows a higher intake of B6 without reaching a toxic level (tingling or numb fingers and toes.)”
She uses 10 mg tablets of Pyridoxal-5-phosphate.
However, I don’t know how much she gives per day.

What about p-5-p 9(Coenzyme b6)? Have you looked into this.

Depending on what she finds in lab test, she also uses zinc and some other things.
This clip just notes that B6 deficiency can cause extreme anxiety.

Interesting, I’ll use a large dose of B6 a few times and see if it helps for my Social Anxiety and nervousness. I’ll let you know if it worked or not.
