Details Emerge in Hit-and-Run Death of Officer in New Milford (Web First)
LITCHFIELD — James O’Neill, a man with a lengthy criminal record — whose acquaintances and co-workers describe as a drinker and who police said was living out of a van in Bethel — was arraigned in Bantam Superior Court Wednesday on charges that he allegedly struck and killed a Danbury police officer last month.
