1939 World’s Fair on the brink of war
When we were 4 or 5, our grandparents faced the wilds of Southern California to drive to the little-known city of Anaheim. Their aim? To take us — and our horrible little brother — to see a new kind of amusement park that had just opened: Disneyland. When we got there, not quite everything was finished, but “Tomorrowland” was there in all its sparkly wonder, including Space Station X-1. That’s …

Lightning surge injures 911 dispatcher
A severe storm in early May caused flooding in Madison County that led to one death and also caused a lightning power surge that injured an emergency dispatcher. A dispatcher was treated for electrical shock on May 2 after lightning sent a power surge through the dispatcher’s headset, said Wendy Lynch, Madison County E-911 director.
I have a family member who is a recovering pill addict. He currently takes methodone as treatment. I was told that the money paid for the methodone is deductable for taxes. Is this true, and if it is, under what category is it a deduction?

Best answer:

Answer by just me
If it qualifies as a medical expense all unreimbursed medical expenses are deducted on Schedule A; an amount equal to 7.5% of your agi is not deductible,- any amount over that is.

North Carolina has one of the fastest growing populations: It is currently the 10th most populated state in the United States. The US Census Bureau estimated the population at nearly 9.1 million during 2007 and projected that by 2025 the state will have 11.4 million residents, ranking it as the 8th largest state in the nation. One of the factors fueling the population growth is the rate of migration of Spanish-speaking, specifically Mexican, nationals to the state. The Mexican population had traditionally been a migrant population that worked in the agriculture-based industries, but now is a permanent segment of the population, capitalizing on the many job opportunities available in the state. Though most immigrants themselves are not involved in drug trafficking, their presence allows Mexican drug-trafficking organizations (DTOs) to conceal their presence and activities within immigrant communities in numerous North Carolina counties, frequently conducting local parceling to mid-level Caucasian and African-American distributors, as well as to out-of-state distributors. Many of the Mexican DTOs are poly-drug distributors of cocaine hydrochloride (HCl), Ice, marijuana, and heroin. North Carolina residents are in need of North Carolina Drug Rehabs, and this student graduated successfuly from North Carolina at Narconon. www.drugsno.com http

North Carolina residents are in need of North Carolina Drug Rehabs, and this student graduated successfuly from North Carolina at Narconon. www.drugsno.com http Tags: drug rehab north carolina drug abuse north carolina treatment Tags: north Carolina rehab drug rehab north carolina
