Antabuse is it worth it? I am a alcoholic that really is motivated to stop drinking forever.?

I need medical help for this problem because it’s out of my control I wish it was like people said I just need to stop but this problem is bigger then me. Can I take antabuse for 1 year? I think that after that time and with spiritual help I will be changed enough to stop for good..

    Well- it is available in a generic, and most insurance companies will cover it. If you ARE motivated, it could help by reinforcing the desire to quit, because every time you slip up you will be incredibly sick to your stomach

    Clark, enlighten me…what is antabuse? I have no Idea really, I’m from the U.S. I never heard if such of a thing, but as a fellow addict I know there is no miracle pill that will help you… but people that have been there canTry to, but hang on and crawl out of that hole bit by bit every day…and you will get closer to the light, and your higher power, what ever it may be, call to and it. It will help you to go the distance… god bless!

    a doctor will tell you how long to take it but yes it will help if you are comitted to taking it and taking it properly!
    You do get very ill if you drink and take this
