Rush Limbaugh Fox News Sunday (Part 2 of 3): Healthcare, Glenn Beck, Drug Rehab
In part 2 of 3 of Chris Wallace’s interview with Rush Limbaugh, he asked Rush about healthcare reform. Rush said that it’s an attempt by the government to steal 1/6 of the private sector economy and take control. Once they get control of healthcare, they will be able to make more decisions about how we run our lives. Rush does not think individual mandates, forcing Americans to purchase health insurance, is constitutional. Wallace also asks Rush about the success of Glenn Beck. Rush also …

If Rush made a salary closer to the norm of most Americans, he wouldn’t be making statements like this. In fact he might not have even gone to the hospital at all with just regular coverage. Rush is a millionaire, and the rest of us aren’t. Rush can afford to pay the insurance fee and the medical costs while the majority of Americans CAN’T. Rush is a self centered ego maniac moron who only thinks of himself. What a JERK!
kamehamehacker says:
In a interview with William Shatner, on his show “Raw Nerve”, Rush Limbaugh suggested that it is entirely fair that if someone cannot afford healthcare, they should not have it.
For Limbaugh, if one is wealthy then the luxury is within one’s reach. If not, there’s no moral reason whatsoever for society to provide any means to assist the underprivileged (middle class?) in affording quality health treatment.
In Limbaugh’s view, the wealthy get to decide whether the poor should live or die.
EdgemanLL2 says:
“can not just gave a decent conversation…”
Hey moron, if you insult someone by lying so obviously to them, dont pretend youre after a decent coversation.
Because there are really only 1 of 3 possibilities to describe you
1) uneducated
2) a liar who knows that increasing the supply (in this case, health ins options) WILL lower prices and improve service.
So unless you want to admit to being an uneducated fux, #2 is you.
so dont pretend to want a decent conv–u dont.
EdgemanLL2 says:
“thousands of different options with the same high rates…”
On what shithead logic do you pretend competition raises prices?
Ever hear of supply and demand, Homeschooled?
Increase the supply of something (in this case, policy options) what happens to the price?
Come on brainiac. whats the answer?
popboarder says:
your whole existence is an ironic piece of cluelessness that not only shows you as a whole can not just have a decent conversation with someone, but that you have shown just how much of an ass you can be, but because someone doesn’t believe in your idea, you have to get all mad and start point out stupid shit about his spelling or grammar. bravo dip shit you just showed everyone your useless to the world.
popboarder says:
yeah you’ll have thousands of different options with the same High rates and premiums that no one can afford you have no proof that getting rid of federal anti-trust exemptions alone will do what you say it will. because Health insurance Co. are not worried about lowering interest rates to compete with each other they will only compete to keep the rates as they are. Way to go you’ve opened up all the possibilities of Higher rates from state to state, your abilities to be retarded astound me.
EdgemanLL2 says:
“people have to have another alternative in order for there to be real competition in Health insurance,”
Which removing the trust exemption and eliminating state mandates will DO.
Remove the exemption and people will have THOUSANDS of alternatives. Duh.
You cant have it both ways. You’re pure bullshit if you pretend opening competition to THOUSANDS of options isnt going to provide competition, but adding ONE (supposed) alternative–govt–somehow will.
EdgemanLL2 says:
“your on youtube criticizing someone over their use of the word “YOUR”,”
Ill just leave that ironic piece of cluenessless to speak for itself. =]
EdgemanLL2 says:
“because you were the one to start call people names”
HAHAHA. Edge is mean, I gave him shitty atitude and he walloped me with it! waaahaa. Gimme a break.
Medical insurance is any other product. Remove the trust exemptions, and competition will happen.
you have ZERO decimal ZERO ZERO reason to pretend it wont.
States have high rates because AGAIN
1) anti trust exemptions
2) bullshit cost raising mandates.
Would you at leas TRY to pay attention?
popboarder says:
Maybe you should review some of your other comments because you were the one to start call people names, the problem you have is that even if you take the exemptions out, Health Insurance companies are not going to compete with each other like youre thinking they will or you saying they will, they will still raise rates or they will merge smaller companies with the Larger ones, this is already done now and this is why States have insanely high rates, not just due to lack of competition.
popboarder says:
Intellectual laziness and dishonesty,
your on youtube criticizing someone over their use of the word “YOUR”, how pathetic is your life that you spend your time trying to make yourself feel cool on youtube. if you hadn’t noticed some of the ways people on here type, I think you should count your lucky fucking stars I at least us the full words and not abbreviate everything.
popboarder says:
people have to have another alternative in order for there to be real competition in Health insurance, and to lower rates for people, again I said that removing the federal anti-trust exemptions will provide the way to competition, but it will not make it competitive for large insurance companies or to give people good affordable coverage that covers them completely and not just routine check ups.
EdgemanLL2 says:
“there [sic] many other laws that in each individual state”
HomeSchool. Take this to an adult and have them explain it to you, since no matter how many times you try to get this on your own, you still are unable.
Federal govt can regulate interstate commerce, that is an EXPRESSED constitutional authority. So they can lift the anti trust exemption AND forbid the elective procedures mandates and then YOU WILL HAVE THE COMPETITION that you already admitted will work.
EdgemanLL2 says:
blah blah blah edge is mean, call him a name blah blah blah.
Typos are one thing. intentionally and repeatedly using wrong words is quite another.
Make any excuses you need to. Youre intellectually lazy and academicallly dishonest by copying off websites and not citing it.
Your intellectual laziness and dishonesty shows throughout your conclusions as well.
popboarder says:
even though you misspelled fertilization and made a complete ass out of yourself. You’re a complete tool and as for not citing my source I didn’t have enough characters to do so I did try but had to end up deleting them, not that I owe you an explanation. maybe you should read over the material before you start naming them like you know them and my burger king shift was great I got to give your mom a healthy dose soft serve.
popboarder says:
I never denounced competition as being not being good, it would be great but my POINT to you is that it would take more then letting Insurance companies compete because there many other laws that in each individual state, which regulate insurance, which you said “that it did not” of course you you mentioned the Federal Anti-trust exemptions which are apart of the McCarran-Ferguson, which you aparently haven’t read. plus you keep trying to distract from this
EdgemanLL2 says:
Actually, it referrs to Travis Smiley show on PBS, comments made by Jesse jackson.
Any other realities I can enlighten you with? HAHAHAHAHA
KennyDoggfart says:
What article since you know he quoted it Edgeman?? Most times to keep from plagiarizing someone you start with Quote and end with unquote??? Hmmm sounds to me this “mysterious” article does not exist?!?! LOL Kooks?? Seems to me the far right is where the kooks and drug addicts are located. Remember WMD for invading Iraq?? Hmmm Where are the WMDs? Disappeared in thin air I guess!! LOL Produce this article. LMAO!! Unbelievable, the right has done it again, “produced” facts without producing!! LOL
EdgemanLL2 says:
“What about someone who is in a car accident ”
Umm,. that would fall under injury and illness. Duh.
But if some couple wants invitro, they should pay for it. Not force some young cocktail waitress/single mom with 3 kids to pay for it–thereby making her health insurance too expensive to own.
its your exact mindset that makes insurance too expensive for poor to own. youre the problem. Not the solution.
EdgemanLL2 says:
“Compete with what”
LMAO. youve already admitted competition would bring the prices down. dont pretend to not believe it now. youre just arguing to argue at this point. Pathetic.
In vitro may be important. But thats NOT why people go bankrupt with health care bills. People arent dying because they cant get in vitro fertilization.
So for the faux argument of the “crisis” of health care, Paying for stuff like invitro that they WONT USE shouldnt prevent the poor from health care.
EdgemanLL2 says:
“what about states that have rate making laws.”
LOL, already answered. Get THAT regulation out of it too. DONT let states require min rates.
Back to proving my orignal point. State regs are what MADE it sp expensive and hard to get.
Thanks for more proof that govt regulation is the CAUSE of why its so expensive and hard for some to get. lol
EdgemanLL2 says:
“God your a Fag you think that you’ve know it all”
Hey, HomeSchool. its “you’re” not “your.”
And I dont “think. I know it all. It just appears that I do, because Im dealing with an abject idiot who knows asolutely nothing. lolol.
And if you are going to copy and paste off a website, you should cite it. Plagiarism is the sign of an uneducated, lazy mind.
How was your shift at Burger King?
EdgemanLL2 says:
Pssst, Kenny. he was quoting an ARTICLE that said it. HE was not the one who said it. He quoted it from an ariticle that talked about (comments by Jesse Jackson and others) it. Duh! LOLOL
Facts refute kooks every time! rofl!
